Privileged To Have You: Ajay Devgn Tells Daughter Nysa On Her 19th Birthday

Ajay Devgn and Kajol's daughter Nysa turns 19 today. The star kid usually stays away from the public eyes usually, and yet she has made headlines for a viral video, being targetted by trolls and speculations over her Bollywood debut, amongst other things. Throughout the ordeal, her celebrity parents have constantly extended support to her publicly.

Nysa Devgan birthday post by father Ajay: Here's what he said

To mark Nysa's 19th birthday, father Ajay Devgn took to Instagram and wrote, "Hey daughter, you are special. Today, tomorrow, forever. Happy birthday Nysa. Privileged to have you." He also shared a picture of his daughter, dressed in black and sitting with her face resting on her hand as she poses for the camera, alongside the caption.

On her 18th birthday as well, Ajay Devgn posted had a rare picture with his daughter and extended his best wishes to her for the day. While Nysa doesn't have a public account on any social media platform, in the past a video of her dancing with her schoolmates to some of her mother's songs had gone viral, though, it was uploaded by her fan page on Instagram.

In the video, Nysa was seen dancing on the hit Bollywood track Bol Chudiyaan, Sajda and Tere Naina. For the dance, she was wearing a knotted white top along with a jazzy skirt. It was speculated that she was studying in Singapore at the time when the video went viral.

Nysa has a younger brother named Yug, who is 12 years old. For the past few years, speculations about her impending Bollywood debut have been making rounds regularly. Her mother Kajol was asked the same question in an interview three years ago, to which she said, "She is just 16-year-old. I think you (media and people) can give her a break and some space. Recently, she celebrated her 16th birthday. Right now, she is studying in 10th standard and she is preparing for her board exams."

Although it was not the first time that people had shown interest in the young star kid's personal life. In 2019, was also trolled on social media for her airport look, which had upset her father. Defending his daughter's privacy, Ajay Devgn had said, "I don't know what kind of people these are and because of them we are paying the price. I request the paparazzi to at least leave the children alone. Why are they paying the price of their famous parents? I don't think any child is okay with paparazzi. They want their space. They want to not dress up every time they step out, so it's very sad when such things happen."

Recently, Nysa was seen participating in a fashion show by well-known designer Manish Malhotra.
