Nick Jonas accident: The musician recently discussed the scary bike accident he suffered about a week-and-a-half ago while filming the NBC special Olympic Dreams.
During Jonas Brothers' appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Nick revealed that he was left with a cracked rib and he asked his brother Kevin Jonas to get in touch with his wife Priyanka Chopra to explain the situation. Nick told ENews that he took a spill on a bike and suffered a "cracked rib" and "a few other bumps and bruises."
The brothers - Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas reunited at the Billboard Music Awards this week. The Spaceman singer revealed after the bike accident the medics were attending to him but when he was about to be put on the gurney to get into the ambulance, he wasn't really in a spot where he could talk to his wife and explain it to her how this incident really happened. He further said he had to make the tough choice to choose between his siblings Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas to make the call. "Who do you give your phone to call your wife in a time of crisis? And I gave it to Kevin," he continued.
The 28-year-old musician then explained that Kevin is the eldest of the Jonas brothers, which also includes their 20-year-old youngest sibling Frankie Jonas, and it was him who could calmly handle the situation. "I was really calm and collected," Kevin also shared revealing that his composed nature in such difficult situations has to do with being a father and seeing children fall all the time. Fortunately, Nick is perfectly fine now as he also told James, "I'm feeling amazing. I'm surprised at how good I feel and right after it happened I had to be okay coz I had Voice and couple of other things and it healed up pretty fast."
Thanking Chopra for her support Nick had earlier shared on Instagram, “I started this last week by taking a brutal tumble on a bike fracturing my rib and ended it hosting the Billboard Music Awards" revealing how his incredible wife helped him every step of the way to recover. While Chopra had also penned a husband appreciation post sharing a photo of herself hugging her husband backstage at the Billboard ceremony. Calling Nick a "force of nature", The White Tiger actor wrote that not even a cracked rib can stop him and praised her musician husband saying she is proud of him for everything he does and achieved so far.
“Your work ethic, your pursuit of excellence! You inspire me everyday! Crushed it today! I love you so much,” she gushed. The couple set the Internet on fire when they appeared for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles. Together, the couple started an initiative and raised USD 1 million (Rs 7.5 crore) for COVID-19 relief in India.
