December 2021 Releases On Netflix: For all the new and exciting content thankfully you don't have to wait till Christmas! Here is what Netflix has to offer in the month of December.
While many films are chosen for a theatre release, there is no dearth of new content on the OTT platforms either. So enjoy this last month of the year with this great content on Netflix.
Cobalt Blue December 3
An aspiring author and his sister both fall for the same guy staying as a paying guest at their home. How will a traditional family take this upheaval? Starring Prateik Babbar, Anjali Sivaraman and Neelay Mehendale. Cobalt Blue is a complex story about love, life and choice. It is based on the novel by the same name written by Sachin Kundalkar who is a film director, screenwriter and playwright. It will start streaming from December 3rd.
Money Heist (Season 5 – Volume 2) 3rd December
“In the last few hours, I’ve lost people very dear to me. And I won’t let anyone else fall because of this heist,” says the Professor at the beginning of the Volume two teaser. The finale of the very popular show is scheduled for release on December 3. The show recently released a one minute, 41 seconds sneak peek. This instalment will have the final five episodes of this hit Spanish series, La Casa De Papel in Spanish.
Aranyak 10th December
Aranyak featuring the OTT debut of actor Raveena Tandon is the story of murder, mystery and mayhem. It takes the audience to the deep secrets of Sironah. Spanning over the mountains. Tandon plays a cop named Kasturi who is trying to level herself in a man’s world, to prove herself better than anyone else. Apart from Raveena Tandon, the show stars Ashutosh Rana and Parambrata Chatterjee. The show starts streaming on 10th December.
The Unforgivable 10th December
Released from the prison after serving a sentence, Ruth Slater played by Sandra Bullock re-enters a society that refuses to remind her of the past. For her, her only hope of redemption is finding her estranged younger sister whom she was forced to leave behind. apart from Bullock the film stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond, Aisling Franciosi, Rob Morgan, and Viola Davis. It has had a theatre release on November 24th and now is all set for an OTT release on December 10th.
Decoupled Releasing on 17th December
Decoupled as the title suggests puts the spotlight on troubled marriages, with its lead couple going to counselling and toying the idea of open marriage. The romantic comedy stars Surveen Chawla and R Madhavan is slated to release on December 17. The trailer has already introduced us to Arya and Shruti who are sticking together for their young daughter. It will be available for viewing from 17th December.
Emily in Paris 22 December
Emily in Paris returns with its second season on December 22nd. The holiday season will bring you how Emily Cooper is settling in her life in Paris. She is getting better at navigating the city but can she get better at putting up with the idiosyncrasies of French life?
