So if you are thinking of having a lazy and cosy weekend at home in front of your PC or TV with your favourite snacks, here's a list of new releases on OTT for this weekend that will perfectly complement your entertainment combo.
The headliner in this weekend's OTT releases is Ms Marvel which has garnered positive reviews from the audience quickly after its first episode was released on Disney + Hotstar. The makers of the show are going to release new episodes every week and slowly reveal the story of their first Muslim superhero played by Iman Vellani. The show has many South Asian actors as part of its cast. Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar will also be seen in the later episodes of the series.

First Kill
First Kill is a vampire romance drama that released on June 10, 2022 on Netflix. The interesting thing about the show is that its protagonists are queer and we will be seeing romance between a teen vampire Juliet Fairmont played by Sarah Catherine Hook and a teen vampire hunter Calliope Burns played by Imani Lewis who are out for their first kill. The series is eight episode long and all released on the same day.
The Broken News
Starring Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shriya Pilgaonkar, The Broken News released on June 10, 2022 on Zee5. The eight episode long show released all its episodes on the same day which can be binge watched this weekend. The plot of the show is about the rivalry between two leading news channels with different principles that compete to unravel a controversial conspiracy.
Intimacy
This Spanish show created by Laura Sarmiento and Verónica Fernández released on June 10, 2022. The story is based on a the life of a rising politician whose career reaches a turning point when she gets involved in a sex scandal. Starring Patricia López Arnaiz, Itziar Ituño and Verónica Echegui, the show is about the blurring line between private and public matters of four women.
Udan Patolas
Starring Sukhmani Sadana, Apoorva Arora, Poppy Jabbal and Aastha Sidana in lead roles, this six episode long series released on Amazon miniTV on June 10, 2022. The show is about four women hailing from Punjab who move to Mumbai together in search of their dreams, aspirations and independence while they deal with relationship and friendship ups and downs.
Peaky Blinders Season 6
Peaky Blinders is a British criminal drama which had its sixth season release on Netflix on June 10, 2022. The show is about the chase between inspector Chester Campbell and the notorious and dreaded criminal clan headed by Tommy Shelby. The season 6 will be the last season of the series and will feature the inner conflict in the Shelby family.
That’s My Time with David Letterman
If you are looking for a relaxing, humour filled weekend then comedian David Letterman's stand up sets and conversation videos might be it. Cyber Vaar
Starring Mohit Malik, Sanaya Irani, Indraneel Bhattacharya, Neha Khan and Keshav Uppal, the show is a cyber crime series that released on June 10, 2022 on Voot. The show is about a unit of Cyber Crime Cell Mumbai called TRACE that comprises of a Senior Inspector, an IT expert and a constable who try to eliminate cyber crimes from the city of Mumbai.
