Gauahar Khan

Model and actor Gauahar Khan married influencer Zaid Darbar in 2020 and announced that they were expecting their first child in 2023. The actor had talked about her desire to become a mother post-marriage and said that they never planned anything but they would do it one or two years later and in December 2022 she announced it with a post asking for blessings for her baby. The actor welcomed a baby boy on May 12, a few days before Mother’s Day and will be celebrating this day with him this year onwards.

Pankhuri Awasthi

Popular and loved TV couple Pankhuri Awasthi and Gautam Rode announced that their family will be growing in 2023. They got married in 2018 and the actor is now six months pregnant. She too shares glimpses of her pregnancy journey on social media. The actor reportedly talked about the changes in her body during pregnancy and said that they were all good changes and that she still can't believe that she will soon be a mother. Awasthi had PCOD and the couple had been trying to get pregnant for quite some time now. So when she missed her period, she wasn't sure if she was expecting but when she did, she was more than elated.

Ileana D'Cruz

Actor Ileana D'Cruz shocked her fans by announcing her pregnancy in April this year. The actor shared a picture of 'mama' pendant and baby romper to announce the pregnancy and also shared pictures of her bake sessions at home on social media. The soon-to-be mother has not revealed much about it but on May 12, she shared pictures of her now visible baby bump in a black dress in which she was all smiles.

Neha Marda

Actor Neha Marda recently gave birth to a daughter after 11 years of her marriage. The actor reportedly opened up about her pregnancy and said that she was overwhelmed and happy to become a mother. She talked about how her distant relatives would always call her out on not being pregnant even after years of marriage and call her too ambitious to be a mother. However, her family were really supportive of her and her husband and never pressured them into anything.

She said that they weren't planning to have a baby and when she showed her husband her ">pregnancy results, he did not believe it for about 3 months and got it confirmed by multiple doctors but once the realisation hit him, he was delighted.

Upasana Kamineni

Actor Ram Charana and entrepreneur Upasana Kamineni announced their first pregnancy this year after 10 years of marriage. The soon-to-be mother due in July 2023 had opened up about how she and her husband didn’t give in to the pestering and taunts of people asking them to get pregnant soon. She said that the pregnancy was a mutual decision when the couple decided that they were ready, personally, financially and professionally, to have and raise a child.

The entrepreneur said she wanted a balanced work and family life as a mother. She wants to be a present mother as well as return to work as soon as possible and she is still figuring out how to do that. She said that working mothers don't need to make such compromises when they have the required support.
