Tiku Weds Sheru Twitter Review: Netizens Call It Entertaining Family Drama

Tiku Weds Sheru created a buzz since the boiled-up controversies on Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur's kissing scene. Avneet Kaur is already making news with her debut movie while Siddiqui leaves no crumbs when it comes to acting and his work. 

Tiku Weds Sheru is a romedy drama in a desi set up with a tinge of dark satire. The movie is produced by Kangana Ranaut under the banner of Manikarnika Films while Sai Kabir has directed the film. Tiku Weds Sheru has Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Shiraz Khan Afghani alias "Sheru" while Avneet Kaur plays Tasleem Khan aka "Tiku". 

While Siddiqui has a specialty to perfectly play on the tightrope of comedy and societal truth bombs, he kills his character with his nonchalant humour, while Avneet Kaur proved herself as her funky aspirational character who marries Sheru. She married Sheru just to get out of small-town Bhopal and get into the city of dreams Mumbai to become an actor. In this chaos full of quirky characters, passion, dreams, romance, and satire, the story takes an interesting twist. Did Twitteratti seem to like it? Let's find out.

While one user on Twitter described the film as a good movie that feels "audience journeyed with characters" calling it a romantic journey. While others call it a hilarious chaotic musical love story. One user says it is an entertaining family drama.

While some users loved the two half of the film one user said, "loved the cameo but the other half felt fast-forwarded." One other user calls the screenplay "utter randomness" and questions the satire of the film calling it a romantic misfit calling "profanity is excessive" and asking for his time back. While many also point fingers in Sai Kabir's direction.

While almost all Twitterrati loved Avneet Kaur's performance calling her an actor already as a tweet read "doesn't feel like she was debuting in a film" while others calls her performance an "irresistible charm shining throughout the film" calls her "treat to the film" and stealing the show. Despite the apprehensions about the cast's age gap, the actors shut their mouths with their on-screen performance which Twiterrati seems to love. 

While fans appreciated Siddiqui's performance one tweet calls him to be getting "repetitive roles." While others call it a "one-time entertainment watch."

Overall the much-anticipated film got mixed reviews from netizens while IMDB rated it as 5.1/10. The movie was released on 23 June and is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Siddiqui will also be seen in a film about body positivity called Noorani Chehra. Avneet Kaur is a daily soap child actor known for her roles in serials like Aladdin, Humari Sister Didi, and Meri Maa, while she appeared in Bollywood films in small roles in Mardaani, Qareeb Qareeb Single. She is known for her social media presence and has been featured in some music videos.
