Neena Gupta vaccine jab: The veteran actor kept her spirits up while getting her COVID-19 vaccine jab in Mumbai. In a video she posted on Instagram, Gupta can be seen squealing as the needle hits her only to later heave a relieved 'done.'
The video shows Gupta talking through the process of her receiving the vaccine. "Bohot darr lag raha hai par lagwane aayi hun. " As the nurse pushes the injection into her left arm, she exclaims. As the needle pulls out, she beams through her mask.
Gupta captioned her video, "Lag gaya ji teeka. Thank you @hindujahospital"
The COVID-19 rollout in India entered its second phase on March 1. Persons above the age of 60 and those with co-morbidities above the age of 45 are eligible to get the shot. The Health Ministry said that over 20 lakh jabs were administered between Monday and Tuesday earlier this week, the highest single-day count since the drive's commencement on January 16.
