'Kolamavu Kokila' To 'Bigil', 6 Of Nayanthara's Films On OTT You Can Watch

In the South Indian film industry, Nayanthara is known for her versatility and has demonstrated her acting skills in a range of roles. She is known as the Indian film industry's "Lady Superstar." She has appeared in over 75 films and is the highest-paid South Indian actor. She is the first South Indian star to be included on Forbes' list (2018).

She will next be featured in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, a Tamil-language romantic comedy film starring Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Nayanthara. The film will be released on April 28th, 2022. The story delves into the idea of polyamorous relationships or having several love relationships. In the upcoming film, Vijay Sethupathi's character Rambo falls in love with both Nayanthara's character Kanmani and Samantha's character Khatija.  Bigil (2019)

Vijay Chandrasekhar plays Michael Rayappan in Bigil, a football player who had to give up his sport due to a personal tragedy brought on by the violence in his life. Angel Aasirvatham, Michael's love interest and a physiotherapist, is played by Nayanthara.

When Michael's friend Kathir (Kathir), the coach of a women's football team, gets severely hurt, the same violence provides Michael with an opportunity to get his life back on track. Michael, alias Bigil, must assume the job of coach in order for the players' dreams, all of whom are from the disadvantaged class of society, to come true, as well as the dreams of his father, Rayappan, a don who regarded sports as a form of social upliftment.  Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019)

The film is based on Narasimha Reddy's life, who rose against the East India Company's injustices in 1847, ten years before the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Uyyalawada's territorial, administrative, and military ruler is Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi). He becomes a powerful warrior and leader after following the counsel of his mentor, Gosayi Venkanna (Amitabh Bachchan). Despite his feelings for the dancer Laxmi (Tamannaah Bhatia), he is forced to marry Siddhamma (Nayanthara) due to circumstances. The film is available on Amazon Prime Video.

 Viswasam (2019)

Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara appear in the film. Thookku Durai (Kumar) is his family's darling and lives by his own set of rules. When doctor Niranjana (Nayanthara) comes to his village for a medical camp, his life is turned upside down. Despite their opposing personalities, they married because Niranjana was convinced that they would make a good match. However, even after becoming a parent, Durai's hastiness in making judgments and refusal to remain away from settling disputes harms their connection. Dissatisfied, Niranjana relocates to Mumbai with their daughter to provide a better life for her. This Tamil film is available on Disney plus Hotstar.

Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018)

Kidnappings by a serial killer cause havoc in Bengaluru. Anurag Kashyap portrays the well-known serial killer Rudra. He had been declared deceased for the past five years. He goes live and declares himself as the deceased Rudra after another such case in which the CBI is involved, led by Nayanthara's character, Anjali Vikramadithyan, IPS. He insists that Rudra is still alive and that he has returned to duty. Anjali, who previously worked on Rudra's case, has been assigned to him. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.

 Kolamavu Kokila (2018)

A young girl, Kokila, played by Nayanthara, becomes engaged with the drug trafficking gang operating in the tiny towns of Tamil Nadu to save her mother from a terminal disease. Her family, on the other hand, is finally drawn into an internal drug battle, putting their lives in jeopardy. Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan, R. S. Shivaji, Charles Vinoth, and Hareesh Peradi are among the supporting cast members. The film is available on Zee 5.

Dora (2017)

The film begins with Nayanthara's character, Pavalakodi and her father, Vairakkannu's (Thambi Ramaiah) affection for one another. The latter wishes for his daughter to marry and intends to visit their ancestral shrine to see if his wish is granted. Pavalakodi chooses to buy a car after an incident that breaks her heart. She buys a secondhand Austin Cambridge. She has no idea that she has been drawn to the car by a mysterious power that wants to exact vengeance on three offenders.
