Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale On Netflix: All You Need To Know About The Documentary

Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale, a documentary on Indian actor and film producer Nayanthara is all set to release on the streaming platform Netflix soon. The film which was announced a few months back will also feature the actor's spouse, director Vignesh Shivan. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got married earlier this year. The ceremony was considered one of the southern film industry's most magnificent weddings.

The Netflix film titled Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale will showcase the life and work of actor-producer Nayanthara onscreen, highlighting the stardom she has attained over the years.

Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale On Netflix

Netflix India recently released the official teaser of the film ad captioned it, ">writing: "The love for her knows no bounds and all we do is quietly bow down in her honour. The fire, the fierce and everything in between Nayanthara."

Gautham Vasudev Menon is the director of the film, which is produced by Nayanthara and Shivan's production company Rowdy Pictures in collaboration with Netflix.

The synopsis of the film reads, “Actor Nayanthara recently got married in a fairytale wedding to ace filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. As they are both poised to start this new phase in life, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale gives an all-access peek into their lives, the marriage, and beyond. We try to unpack who the intensely private Nayanthara is, and how Vignesh has made her harness the full power of her talent and love - as an artist and a woman.”

"I don't understand the tags, I don't understand the titles"

The documentary will bring to light the star's relationship with her husband, her life on screen and the challenges she has faced up until now in the industry. In the official teaser out today, the two can be seen narrating bits of their life as a couple and sharing their journey from falling in love to tying the knot. "I don't understand the tags, I don't understand the titles," ">says Nayanthara in the teaser. Her spouse adds to this by saying, "More than Nayanthara the superstar, she is a wonderful human being."

Nayanthara and Shivan got married on June 9, 2022, at a resort in Mahabalipuram. The ceremony was attended by a lot of their close friends from the industry with prominent guests including, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya. The actor who made her acting debut in 2003,  is considered a Pan India superstar and has done some noteworthy work across Tamil Telugu and Malayalam cinema.
