Nawazuddin Siddiqui Reacts To Wife's Allegations: 'I Am Termed As Bad Guy'

In a recent Instagram video, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's spouse Aaliya Siddiqui claimed the actor had attempted to "steal" their children. She has also filed a rape complaint against the actor.

On Monday, Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to social media to share a long note, breaking his silence on the matter in an elaborate way for the first time. He said that people have labelled him as a ‘bad guy’ after hearing only one side of the story. Nawaz said that his ex-wife had ‘abandoned’ their children in Dubai and would take large sums of money from him on a monthly basis. Siddiqui claimed that he has already financed her multiple movies and given her a house and a car.

He insisted that Aaliya continue to file complaints and legal actions against him in an effort to extort more money from him and then back off after receiving payment. Aaliya's sole goal, he continued, is to "blackmail me, damage my reputation, and ruin my career," he added as a final statement.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui Wife's Allegation

Aaliya Siddiqui, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife, claimed in a video posted on Instagram on Friday that the actor had filed a custody dispute against her in an effort to "steal" their children from her. She added that she had reported the actor for rape with "proof."

In the video, Aaliya sobbed while talking about her kids and accusing Siddiqui of "misusing his power" to "steal" them. She claimed that because the actor was never involved in their upbringing, they didn't even understand what a father was.

The estranged couple have two children, Daughter Shora and son Yaani. In the video, Aaliya mentioned Siddiqui while discussing the specifics of a custody dispute the actor had brought up in court.

She said, "Jisne na kabhi bacho ko mehsoos hi nahi kiya, na pet me aur na hone ke baad mehsoos kiya... usko yeh nahi pata bache kaise bade ho gaye... isko kuch nahi pata, woh bacho ko mujhse cheen ke aaj apne power se ye dikhana chahta hai ki wo bahut acha baap hai. Woh acha baap nahi, buzdil baap hai ki ek maa se uske bache cheen raha hai... apni power ko misuse kar raha hai (Before or after our children were born, this man never served as their father. He has no idea how the children have developed, but he wants to steal the children from me today to prove that he is a good parent. He is not a good father, but rather a coward who wants to take a mother's children by abusing his position of authority)."

Aaliya refrained from crying as she accused Nawazuddin of attempting to steal her children, saying, "Tum apne paise se kitne logo ko khareed lo, mere bache nahi cheen sakte tum mujhse... mujhse bache cheen ke kahan rakhega unhe? Mere bache kya reh lenge iske saath? Mere bacho ko toh pata bhi nahi baap kya hota hai (With money, you can buy people, but you can't take my kids. How will you keep them? Will they stay by your side? They don't even know what a father is.)"

Aaliya's attorney claimed last month that Siddiqui and his family "ensure no food or a bathroom is given to his client." Aaliya's first husband, Vinay Bhargav, was allegedly still her husband, according to a recent claim made by Nawazuddin's attorney.
