The new trailer of Zwigato, starring comedian Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami has just dropped. The film's trailer was recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is directed by Nandita Das.
The movie claims to sensitively depict the struggle of a delivery man, his family, and the gig economy as he shuttles around delivering items to consumers on a daily basis. The gig economy comes with its own struggle and that is what Das is addressing. The trailer depicted Sharma as a delivery boy attempting to create a good life for his family. He tries to remain optimistic at times, but sometimes negativity weakens him.
The popular comedian Kapil Sharma shared the trailer on his social media on Monday with the caption, "After the successful world premiere at @TIFF_NET, Zwigato is all set to win hearts at @busanfilmfest.

The 1.39-minute-long video began with Sharma carrying a stack of pizza boxes into a posh apartment and climbing the stairs after learning from a note that delivery workers are not permitted to use the elevator to find a lone drunk man. The actor is portrayed as a devoted father of a daughter and a son who, despite his son's sarcastic remarks, starts each day with optimism. In addition, he finds it difficult to spend time with his Shahana Goswami-portrayed wife. Goswami plays the role of Pratima, who starts working to support the family, which causes things to start growing increasingly difficult for them.

A man riding a bike runs up to Sharma and asks whether he may make deliveries while riding his bike, further illustrating the suffering of the working class. After reading a flyer that claimed, "He is a labourer; that's why he is helpless," he adds, "Or maybe he is helpless; that's why he is a labourer." Sharma crushes his phone in frustration after an order gets cancelled toward the end. He says in a conversation with his wife that management wants him to chase incentives, never complain, and be a good boy. Watch the trailer here.
