Mumbai-based writer and indie film director and actor Kuldeep Kaushik’s film, Naar Ka Sur released its trailer today evening. Fans look forward to watching something “new” and “unique” as they eagerly await the movie to hit theatres.
The film whose tagline says, “12 women, 24 stories of the power of Naari,” is one which depicts the survival of women rebelling against patriarchy over the game of Kabaddi. The trailer also tells that the game in the film has been used as a metaphor for strength and fighting instincts in women who fight for basic fundamental rights throughout their existence.
Naar Ka Sur Release Date
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Kaushik shared the release details of the film. Written and directed by Kaushik himself, the film is produced and co-produced by Sunil Tayal and Vikas Jain, respectively. With Krishna Lal Chandani’s background score, Malini Awasthi, Rakesh Maini and Somnath Bhowal lend their voices to the film’s music. Social Media Partners of the movie include Manish Sharma, Achal Sharma and Sahil Jasuja.
Twitterati is impressed by the trailer. Soon after its release, one such user tweeted, “Naar Ka Sur is all about showing what a woman is and I'm really impressed upon seeing the trailer.”
Commenting that the film is all about the capabilities of women, another user said, “What a wonderful trailer of Naar Ka Sur I'm amazed to watch. This movie shows that women's capability is not less than a man's.”

Kuldeep Kaushik’s said in his bio, “I cannot make this movie with the help of Taiwan. We shot there. Especially the city of Tai Chong. My Indian crew, I love you. My Canadian crew, I love you. My family is in Taiwan. My wife, Jane Lin. We'll be married 30 years this summer.” The movie is said to hit the screens on August 5, 2022.
