Amazon Prime Video's beloved medical drama Mumbai Diaries is coming up with another season, where the doctors' fraternity will be seen grappling with citywide floods.
The makers released the trailer for season 2 on September 29.
Mumbai Diaries Season2
While there are many series, films and documentaries around the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Mumbai Diaries Season 1 depicted yet another thread from it, showcasing the struggle of the medical fraternity as the backdrop involving doctors, trainees, and staff of the government hospital Bombay General Hospital during the attacks. The series, however, is a work of high-octane fictional art.
Prime Video's medical drama thriller is now coming up with its second season as the streaming platform dropped its trailer on Friday. The second season picks up nine months after the events of the first season, with the doctors, trainees, and staff of Bombay General Hospital still reeling from the aftermath of the 26/11 terror attacks. As they try to move on with their lives, they are faced with a new challenge: the devastating Mumbai floods.
As the first season laid the foundation of its intense characters against the dynamics of the hospital, the new season will also explore the personal struggles of each one of them as they navigate the demanding world of medicine and the complex relationships in their lives.
With the talented cast including Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Satyajeet Dubey, Riddhi Dogra, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Tina Desai, Parambrata Chatterjee, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Natasha Bharadwaj among others, we can expect some great performances as well. The series is shot under the banner of Emmay Entertainment, produced by Monisha Advani & Madhu Bhojwani and is directed by Nikhil Advani.
The show is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 6.
