We're here to tell you all we know about Mirzapur Season 3 release date. Crime-drama Mirzapur is going to be back in 2022. The series is set in the backdrop of Mirzapur city of Uttar Pradesh controlled by mafia don Akhandanand Tripathi. The makers have claimed that the new season will include much more engaging mysteries and thrills compared to the previous seasons. Many actors are expected to return in the cast of Mirzapur Season 3.
Mirzapur has been well-received by the Indian audience for the engaging plot and performances of the actors. The cast of the show is led by Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi and Rasika Duggal among others. Actors Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey and Shriya Pilgaonkar were also part of the previous seasons of the show.
What has happened so far?
In season 1 we are introduced to Akhandanand Tripathi, also known as Kaleen Bhaiyya (played by Tripathi), who smuggles ammunition as well as opium under the banner of his carpet business. Brothers Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Bablu (Vikrant Massey) join their business to earn big, much to the dismay of their advocate father who prioritises self respect over money and power. Jealous of the increasing importance the two brothers get grom his father and losing his love interest to Guddu, Kaleen Bhaiyaa's son Munna (Divyendu Sharma) plans an attack on two, leading to multiple deaths. In the mix is also Kaleen's wife Beena, who is sexually abused by her father-in-law after he uncovers her affair with a servant.

In the second season of Mirzapur, Guddu and Gajgamini Golu Gupta (">Shweta Tripathi) plan to take Mirzapur under their control as they embark on a revengeful journey due to the loss of their dear ones. In the course, they make new allies in form of Priyanshu Paiyuli's Robin, who is in a relationship with Guddu's sister. Meanwhile, Munna Tripathi gets married to widowed politician Madhuri Yadav who later becomes the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, making her husband more powerful than ever. As Kaleen Bhaiyya struggles to preserve the power that is slipping from his hands, courtesy his new enemies, his wife plans to exact revenge from her abusive father-in-law and also secure the seat of Mirzapur for her newborn son.
Who will be seen in Mirzapur Season 3?
Most of the cast is expected to return in Mirzapur Season 3, including Pankaj Tripathi as Akhandanand Tripathi, Ali Fazal as Guddu, Shweta Tripathi in the role of Golu, Rasika Duggal as Beena Tripathi, Harshita Gaur as Dimpy Pandit, Shaji Choudhary as Maqbool Khan among others. However, actor Divyendu Sharma may not be returning in the new season as Munna Tripathi. It is expected that his reel wife Madhuri, played by Isha Talwar will be seen in a prominent role as his widow.
Mirzapur Season 3 Release Date
Mirzapur Season 3 is expected to release on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. However, the exact dates of its release has not been revealed yet.
