Mirabai Chanu To Join Dance Deewane For Independence Day Special Episode

Mirabai Chanu Dance Deewane 3:  She made the country proud by winning India's first medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020. In a bid to honour Mirabai Chanu and mark the country's 75th Independence Day celebrations , the dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 has invited the Olympian as a guest celebrity. She will be seen alongside judges Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia, and Dharmesh Yelande. Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa are the hosts of the show.

Besides Chanu, former all-rounder cricketer Kapil Dev, former first-class cricketer Mohinder Amarnath, Indian fencer Bhavani Devi (Tokyo Olympics debutant), and wrestler Priya Malik will also be a part of the show, as per sources. It will be aired on Colors TV

Some days ago, Saikhom Mirabai Chanu’s biopic was announced. Chanu’s management and Imphal-based Seuti Films Production have signed an agreement for the same. To ensure the medalist’s inspiring life-story reaches a wider audience, the Manipuri film will be dubbed into English and various Indian languages. Read more about the biopic.

She was recently in news for her heart-warming gesture of felicitating of rewarding and felicitating the truck drivers who used to offer Chanu free rides back and forth from her home to the Khuman Lampak sports centre. This helped the family in a big way who would have to otherwise spend the money on her commute. According to her, they have been a part and parcel of her journey to Tokyo and the Olympic victory.
