But even if you put that on a kid, and you say star kid, people don’t like listening to ‘star kid’ for all of its nepotistic connotations and all of that." According to Rajput, the term is, however, still in use, suggesting that it should perhaps soon disappear. She continued that she had never been able to grasp the idea of a "star wife." She said, "What does it mean?"

Speaking with the host Rajput also explained why the term should be banned, even when referring to the children of movie stars. She further continued, "You can have an actor or celebrity or a star who has a wife or a husband; nobody says star husband; why is there a star wife?"

In the latest episode she appeared alongside singer-rapper Badshah.  Meera Rajput and Shahid Kapoor are parents to Misha, age 6, and Zain, age 4. The actor frequently appears in Mira's online YouTube videos.
