Meghana Raj Sarja Announces Comeback Film On Late Husband's Birth Anniversary

Meghana Raj Sarja Comeback film: In an Instagram post on Sunday, actor Meghana Raj Sarja announced her return to films. It was the birth anniversary of her late husband, actor Chiranjeevi Sarja. She will be producing the thriller film, along with Pannaga Bharana, who was also a close friend of her husband's. The film will be directed by debutant director Vishal.

Meghana wrote on Instagram, "No other day could have been better, no other team could have been better… ITS UR BIRTHDAY, ITS OUR DREAM … This is for YOU CHIRU! If not for Panna i dont know if i wld have even thought about this.. im truly home now… Its OFFICIAL… CAMERA… ROLLING… ACTION!"

Following her, producer Pannaga Bharana also took to Instagram to announce the same, and wrote in a heartfelt note, "Dear Chiru on ur birth anniversary here i am gifting you one of the dream that we saw together - Producing a film - the journey got even more meaningful having Meg playing the lead… Everyone’s been generous and supporting… you be the force in making the ends meet… ♥️ U will always be our reason to celebrate".

Meghana also stunned in a photoshoot, whose pictures she posted on Instagram. She turned into a princess for the shoot and in one picture, she is seen staring at the portrait of her husband, who is styled as a prince. In the caption, she wrote "Can stare for all eternity… I LOVE YOU… let the celebrations begin! Thanks again Priyanka, Madhura and Bindu Reddy for convincing me to take up this shoot!".

Her husband, actor Chiranjeevi Sarja had died of cardiac arrest on 7 June, 2020, when Meghana was five months pregnant.

Meghana Raj has largely worked Malayalam and Kannada films. She married Chirranjeevi Sarja in 2018 after dating for over 10 years. Junior Chirranjeevi Sarja was born on 22 October 2020.
