Hailing from Haryana's Mahendragarh, Mayank appeared on a recent episode of the 15th edition of the game show KBC telecasted on Sony TV. The episode was a part of KBC's special junior week.
The episode's promo shared by the broadcasters on their X account showcased the young boy confidently answering the 16th question to win the mega prize of ₹1 crore becoming the "crorepati".
Without breaking a sweat, Mayank answered the 16th question that read: “Which European Cartographer is credited with creating the map that has the name America to the newly discovered continent?” With four options featuring Abraham Ortelius, Geradus Mercator, Giovanni Battista Agnese, and Martin Waldseemüller.
