Masaba Gupta Marries Satyadeep Misra In An Intimate Ceremony

Fashion designer and actor Masaba Gupta took everyone by surprise by announcing that she is officially married to her longtime boyfriend, actor Satyadeep Misra on Friday. She posted some gorgeous photos from the intimate wedding on her Instagram handle.

Masaba Gupta, the daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, took to social media on Friday morning to announce that she had officially married her long-time boyfriend, actor Satyadeep Misra. She posted a couple of beautiful photos from her wedding on Instagram and wrote, "Married my ocean of calm, this morning. Here’s to many, many lifetimes of love, peace, stability, and, most importantly, laughter. And thanks for letting me pick the caption! This is going to be great!"

According to Vogue, the couple had an intimate court wedding. The wedding was graced only by immediate family and friends who are like family. Gupta told Vogue that the idea was to keep it simple; however, there will be a party with close friends and family for about 80 to 85 people who’ve had a meaningful relationship with Satyadeep and me.

The fashion designer opted for a barfi pink raw silk lehenga with gold embroidery and a lime green dupatta with a wallflower print. Misra was seen wearing a barfi pink wallflower bandi and a comfortable kurta-pyjama. The couple wore House of Masaba's new bridal collection, which is yet to be launched. The entire family is also dressed in the House of Masaba couture.

Gupta said the idea of opting for an intimate wedding was because both of them were conscious of not wasting ridiculous amounts of money. Moreover, she said that they were very private people and preferred to have only their family and loved ones on a memorable day like this. Gupta said, "This is truly a private moment for both of us, and more than anything, we wanted to enjoy it. We wanted to make this about ourselves."

"It meant a lot that my father flew down from the Caribbean. It's the first time in my life that my stepfather, my father, my mother, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law are all going to be in the same room celebrating together. For me, that's the biggest moment of my life, and I wanted that to be intimate," said Masaba Gupta, daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta.

Gupta and Misra met on the sets of Masaba Masaba, and interestingly, he played her ex-husband in Season 1 of the series. Gupta thinks that they connected through conversations. Gupta said. "We both love comfort, peace, and a healthy lifestyle. We both like simple things: coming home to each other and just talking about nothing; watching something completely ridiculous; and having a good laugh. I think that's something we crave."
