Everything You Need To Know About The Web Series Hing Pustak Talwar

Hing Pustak Talwar is a Marathi web series set to release this month. It tells the story of seven friends coming from different backgrounds and talks about friendship and adulting struggles in a digital age. Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, Makrand Shinde, Nitish Patankar and Anupam Barve, the show promises to answer relatable questions for the millennials, such as whether a WiFi connection is more important than purchasing a water heater, what is the suitable way of celebrating New Year's Eve and so on.

Hing Pustak Talwar cast

The show features Shaunak Chandorkar as Akshay who is a corporate employee dissatisfied with his job. Amit (Sushant Ghadge) is torn between his girlfriend and boss. Neel Salekar plays the role of a porn addict, Kaustubh. Sanika, played by Manasi Bhawalkar is always practical about her life. Kshitish Daate essays the role of Sameer who is eager to get married. Ketaki Kulkarni brings to life the character of Amrita who is too innocent for the world around her. Finally, there is Pandey (Alok Rajwade) who has seemingly figured out his life well.

Release date

The series will be releasing later this month on Tuesday, August 31. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Bhawalkar wrote, "Hing Pustak Talwar (sic). Poster Out! Coming on your screens on 31st August 2021!"

Where to watch

The Marathi web series will be releasing on a regional OTT platform Planet Marathi. Taking to their Instagram handle, the streaming giant shared the trailer of the series and wrote in Marathi, "They are 'different' from each other but they are not 'separate' from each another."

The series is created by Omkar Rege and Tanmay Kantitkar. 16 by 24, Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, Keyur Godse, Neeraj Biniwale and Amrut Athavale have produced it. Sarang is behind its music. It has Abhijeet D. Abde as its cinematographer and Vishal Bote as the editor.
