Mandira Bedi daughter Tara turns 5: Films and television actor Mandira Bedi, who adopted daughter Tara in July last year, has shared throwback pictures with Tara and her late husband Raj Kaushal on Wednesday to mark her fifth birthday. Mandira also penned a special note for her daughter, celebrating the day she came into her life. Bedi captioned it, "28th July ! One year today since you came into our lives" and so "we celebrate you today." Bedi further wrote in her note, "I love you so much", accompanying the post with the hashtag #beginagain.
Mandira and Raj Kaushal had adopted Tara last year on this date. They had previously revealed they wanted to adopt a daughter after their son Vir. She had said that the couple wanted a sister for Vir. Bedi stressed that they had already thought of a name for her. "We are going to call her Tara,” she had shared that time. The couple got married in 1999 and their son Vir, now 10, was born in 2011.
Reacting to Bedi's post, her friend and actor Mouni Roy wrote: "My babies," with heart emojis. Actor Vidya Malavade, who was also present at Kaushal's prayer meet earlier this month, extended regard saying, "God bless our angel Taroooo and her beautiful mommy." The comments section was filled with greetings for the family. Hansika Motwani wished Tara, happy birthday, while Maria Goretti commented, "Mandy you have the most beautiful heart, god bless you always and always."
Bedi recently lost her husband Raj Kaushal who due to a cardiac arrest. He was 49 He was a writer, producer, and director and he had made several notable films, including Onir's 2005 movie My Brother... Nikhil... He started his career as a copywriter. Kaushal also began his own advertising production company in 1998 and went on to direct over 800 commercials.
On Monday morning, Bedi wrote a handwritten note to herself on Instagram which read: "I am worthy, I am capable, I am loved, I am strong." After her husband's sudden demise, she had shared a post in which she said she is grateful to have her family standing by her after the tragedy.
