Director Deepak Reddy is on cloud nine as his much-acclaimed short film Manasanamaha has now added a new feather to its cap. The debutante director's short film has become the first Telugu-language film to enter the coveted Guinness Book Of World Records. Reportedly, the project features Viraj Ashwin, Drishika Chander, Srivalli Raghavendra and Prithvi Sharma.
The film has been screened across many film festivals and won accolades and earned itself a place in the Guinness Book. The crew of the film was presented the certificate by the Guinness World Records.

Reddy took to Instagram to announce this joyous news. The filmmaker shared a picture with the certificate and captioned the post, "#Manasanamaha Creates History as the most award-winning Short film in the world! #TeluguCinema."
Meanwhile, actor Sudhakar Komakula also shared the news and wrote, "Extremely Proud! The highest number of awards for any short film in the world!!! Guinness Record! Period. This is a superb job done by this fighter/achiever Deepak Reddy without major support. This should be celebrated by the entire Indian Film Fraternity!! This is not a joke! The short Manasanamaha is a non-linear romantic short film where Surya (Ashwin) is narrating the story of three relationships and each story represents a season. Reportedly, the film was made on a basic budget and shot over five days.
Reports state that the film has since its screening at various film festivals bagged as many as 513 awards until now and is the first short flick to win so many. The movie has received the Best Short Film title at the famous Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, Tagore Film Festival and also Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival. The film was also the official entry to Oscar and BAFTA awards.
