In her Instagram post, Payal Malik conveyed her frustration with the situation, saying, “Until now, I had no problem with trolling—it’s something that happens to people who achieve success. But now, I’m receiving numerous threats.” She made it clear that her legal action is aimed at those defaming her and her family, emphasising that she is determined to seek justice through the courts. “Those who are involved in defaming me and my family, I am here to file a defamation case against them,” she added.
MLA Calls For Action Against Bigg Boss OTT 3 Amid Vulgarity Claims
Earlier this week, Shiv Sena MLA and spokesperson Manisha Kayande approached Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, urging immediate action against the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3. This plea follows the online leak of an intimate video featuring YouTuber and show contestant Armaan Malik along with his second wife, Kritika Malik.
Kayande criticised the show’s content, calling it “absolute vulgarity.” She told ANI, “Bigg Boss OTT 3 is meant to be a reality show, but the current scenes are crossing all boundaries of decency. The involvement of a YouTube influencer in this is particularly concerning. We have submitted a formal complaint to the Mumbai police, requesting urgent action against the show’s producers and participants. This kind of public display in the name of reality TV raises questions about its impact on young audiences.”
Kayande also announced plans to approach the Information and Broadcasting Minister to advocate for new regulations governing OTT platforms. She stated, “We intend to request legislative action to address the content being aired on these platforms. We are also calling for the arrest of the actors involved and the CEO of the show.”

Weeks after her elimination from Bigg Boss OTT 3, Payal Malik has spoken out about the intense hate she and her family have been receiving. In a vlog shared on July 19, Payal revealed her decision to divorce Armaan Malik, stating she's done with the hate that's affecting her kids due to the polygamy in her family. "The hate is now directed at my kids, which is shocking and disgusting. I've decided to part ways with Armaan. He can stay with Kritika while I'll take care of the kids," she said in Hindi.
Payal explained that Kritika might stay with Zaid, but she would leave with her other three children. She expressed frustration with the public's disapproval of polygamy and the relentless trolling. "We can't subject our children to this. Which parents can afford that?" she added, confirming her decision to separate to protect her family from further hate and abuse.
