The pop queen Madonna who is also the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time is all set to celebrate her record-breaking, four-decade career by hitting the road for her first-ever greatest hits tour “The Celebration Tour”. Starting this summer, the tour will span 35 cities around the world.
Madonna Louise Ciccone, an American singer-songwriter and actress aged 64, announced it in a video shared on social media, featuring superstars such as Judd Apatow, Lil Wayne, Jack Black, Kate Berlant, Meg Stalter, Bob the Drag Queen, Larry Owens, Amy Schumer and Eric Andre, referencing her iconic “Truth and Dare” documentary movie by playing the classic game with the superstars. The video clip further shows Amy Schumer, the 41-year-old American standup comedian giving a dare to the pop queen Madonna to go on tour and perform her four decades of mega hits songs. Accepting the dare Maddona announced the trek.
Madonna To Take Celebration tour
Madonna is all set to perform music from her entire career, from her 1983's self-titled debut album to 2019's Madame X. Announcing the tour, she said “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible, in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for." further a press release about the tour claimed, “It will take us on Madonna's artistic journey through four decades and pays respect to the city of New York where her music career began". Meanwhile, Bob the Drag Queen aka Caldwell Tedicue will join Madonna as a special guest for the Celebration Tour.
The tour will kick off from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, and make stops at major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Seattle and Detroit in North America which will wrap around by October 7 in Las Vegas. Furthermore, the pop queen will head overseas to London, Barcelona, Stockholm, Berlin, Paris and more such cities in Europe from October 14 with the tour wrapping up on December 1st at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

Tickets for the celebration tour will be available from the public from Friday, January 20 while the Citi cardholders and members of Madonna's Official Fan Club can avail of the tickets this week. More information regarding the tickets and the show is available on the official Madonna website.
