Madhura Naik Explains Why She Put Up 'Bikini Pic For Creeps’: My Inbox Is Full Of Disgusting Messages

Madhura Naik bikini photo: Television actor Madhura Naik, who recently posted a caricature of herself in a bikini on social media, has explained the reason behind her decision to post the picture.

In an interview, she said posting this bikini picture was her way of protesting against cyber-bullying. She explained how she was getting trolled on social media and in response to the lewd messages that she gets online, Naik shared the picture with the caption, "For all those CREEPS who keep asking me for bikini posts on my Instagram! Here it is, love ya!" She further added that it's not just about her clothes but trolls target her for everything from the food she eats to the opinions she shares. She said that she was once attacked for fishing, as it had hurt the sentiments of vegetarians, ETimes reported.

Naik told a leading daily that her DMs and inbox are always full of such lewd messages from "creeps". Even though she doesn't react to or read such messages, she said, she just "wanted to put out this bikini picture for all of them" because she gets so "disgusted" by the people and what they write. Sometimes, she says, it makes her wonder had they been face-to-face, would they still say such things.

The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor said that she isn't particularly bothered by the trolling. She was later lauded for her apt reply to the users who've been asking her for bikini photos. A fan wrote, "Well done," while another commented, "Good."

On the work front, Naik is known for making guest appearances in shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Uttaran and Naagin. She has also co-hosted the reality show Superdude. She was last seen on Dangal TV's Alif Laila. She made her acting debut with Kahe Naa Kahe in 2007 and was later seen on shows like Tumhari Paakhi, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Dill Mill Gayye and Tenali Rama.
