Lust Stories 2 Twitter Reviews
Lust Stories 2 is a depiction of sexual relationships from the female lens, a point of view that is often not explored in real life. However, cinema plays an important role in bringing these narratives to the public.
Lust Stories 2 presents four such narratives of the sexual lives of Indian women directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh, R Balki and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. While Sharma's direction impressed the audience, they were not so happy with other directors like Ghosh.
The audience loved the sensual scenes of Mrunal Thakur-Angad Bedi and Tamannah Bhatia-Vijay Varma despite finding their stories lacking. Bhatia and Varma recently admitted their relationship publicly which makes the movie even more exciting to the audience. Bhatia broke her no-kissing policy on-screen for him and their chemistry was loved by fans.
Kajol's acting and her expression of emotions through her eyes, impressed fans. The acting of the entire cast was great but Tillotama Shome's performance stood out to netizens the most. Neena Gupta's character and her story did not leave an impression but took up an important conversation about relationships.
Overall, the movie received mixed reactions from the audience. On one hand, they loved the performances, sensual content and stories, but the male directors disappointed them to some extent. Konkona Sensharma and Tillotama Shome are the highlights of the anthology.
