When Is Lust Stories 2 Release Date?

The Netflix series Lust Stories, which gained notoriety for telling tales of lust and sexual empowerment is set to make a comeback with its new season.

A college lecturer named Kalindi (Radhika Apte) had a one-night affair with a student named Tejas(Akash Thosar) in the first season of the show. The season showed how she tells herself the next morning that it was only an isolated incident, but she subsequently worries about the power dynamics in a student-teacher relationship. Then there was a meek character played by Kiara Advani who struggles to have desires fulfilled by her husband and when she takes help of a small tool, she gets shamed for it. Other such stories of the anthology had gained much praise from the audience in the first season.

Lust Stories 2 Release Date:

According to reports, Lust Stories 2 director R Balki has signed Mrunal Thakur to play the lead role in his story. The Ronnie Screwvala, Ashi Dua, and Netflix-backed production will shortly begin filming this show. Reportedly, the cast for the anthology's chapter directed by Konkona Sen Sharma have been finalised. The stars of Konkona's share of the film will be Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash.

The season 2 is being directed by R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh in contrast to the previous anthology that was released in 2018 and was under the direction of Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee.

Konkona's most recent acting appearance was in the television series ">Mumbai Diaries 26/11. She will next be featured in Kuttey, the directorial debut of Vishal Bhardwaj's son Aasmaan, alongside Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Radhika Madan, and Kumud Mishra.

Mrunal Thakur will next be featured in Raja Menon's Pippa and Sita Raman, both directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Furthermore, Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi, Angad Bedi, and Shivendra Singh Dungarpur are among the leading cast members of R Balki's next movie Ghoomer, which just wrapped up filming.

Lust Stories 2 is currently in its filming stage and its release date has not been announced yet.
