Looop Lapeta Taapsee Pannu: Actor Taapsee Pannu, who recently wrapped up the shoot for her forthcoming film, Looop Lapeta, announced that the film will be out in the theatres soon. In her latest Instagram post, Pannu wrote,“Looop Lapeta running to the theatres soon.” The release date is out and now the film is all set to wow audiences.
Actor Taapsee Pannu took to her social channels to drop the release date of her film Looop Lapeta. Sharing a 12-second teaser of the comic thriller, Pannu wrote, “Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya….. #LooopLapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021. a comic thriller we rarely get ! .” Directed by Aakash Bhatia, the romantic drama also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead role.
On 16 February, the Looop Lapeta team wrapped up the shooting in Goa. From the sets, producer Tanujj Garg shared a picture and an update about the film.
“And IT’S A WRAP! 42 rigorous #shooting days and months and months of intensive prep. As the phrase goes, I’ve been eating, sleeping, walking, talking and breathing this #movie for over a year now. I promise you that #loooplapeta will be the craziest ride of the year. We’re on to something truly, truly special,” he wrote.
In addition, he revealed that the film will be released in cinemas later this year.
“It’s hard to imagine not having to wake up tomorrow at 4 am and head to set. But as they say, all good things must come to an end…… perhaps for new good things to happen. See you at the movies later this year!” he mentioned.
Loop Lapeta deets
- Looop Lapeta is being directed by Aakash Bhatia and has Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles.
- In a recent Instagram post, the Bollywood actor gave a sneak-peak of the main characters Savi and Satya's, played by Taapsee and Tahir respectively. "Satya ke liye, it was love at first fight. Aur main... Main bahut bhaag chuki thi. Ab bas paaon tikaana chahti thi. Life se maar khaane ki humein aadat ho gayi thi. Isiliye humne ek dusre ko hi, apna pain killer bana liya (For Satya, it was love at the first fight. And me, I just wanted to stay still after all the running around. In the fight against life, we became pain-killers for each other.). Enter the world of fire n ice! #LooopLapeta #SatyaAndSavi," she captioned the post.
- Later, Tahir also posted the same photo on his Instagram account, he wrote, "Dearest Savi, tujhse mill kar meri life badal gayi (life has changed after I met you) and all it took is a day. Sometimes when we're together I can feel time standstill. When you laugh it seems to slip by. We obviously bend the definition of time and now, quite literally, that must be put to the test. The only stakes higher than live or die are love & loss. So run, run like you must to keep us going! I place my bets on you."
- The film is an official remake of the 1998 German thriller ‘Run Lola Run', about a woman who must collect 100,000 Deutschmarks within 20 minutes to save her boyfriend.
- On the work front, Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap recently announced their upcoming venture together. They shared the teaser of the new-age thriller titled Dobaaraa, which is based on time travel.
- Pannu is going to be featured in a sports film, titled Rashmi Rocket directed by Akarsh Khurana which tells the story of a runner from Gujarat who gets named Rashmi Rocket because of the speed with which runs on the track.
