As Netflix's legal drama series The Lincoln Lawyer releases its second part of the season, here's everything you must know before you stream it. The wait of fans is finally over after the show had left them on a cliffhanger with suspense.
With part one of season two being released earlier in July this year, the makers decided to not leave the fans waiting and release part two in August 2023 itself.
Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Part 2 Releases
Netflix's legal procedural drama Lincoln Lawyer is a book adaptation of the novel series of the same name written by Michael Connelly. The series protagonist Mickey Haller is a defence attorney known for working his cases from his towncar Lincoln rather than from his office. The series navigates through his life, the emotional roller coasters of professional and personal life, career failures and challenges alongside solving intriguing mystery cases.
What Is The Plot About?
Season one of the series was based on the book adaptation of The Brass Verdict from Colloney's novel series. The second season of the show has now adapted the third book from the series The Fifth Witness as the shoemakers are already popular for not following the sequence of the novel series.
The series follows Haller's noticeable comeback into his career following his lawyer father's legacy after a long-struggling hiatus due to a surfing accident. Haller trials in coming out of divorce, losing his family, and getting spiralled into pain killer addiction, become successful owing to the case he wins in season one.
Haller is seen enjoying his fame in season 2 before everything goes upside down all over again as he takes up the case of chef Lisa Trammel as her defence attorney. Lisa and Haller's romantic past does more harm than good. Haller is also seen getting closer to his first wife, Maggi, after the divorce with whom he shares a daughter.
There are many raising questions around Lisa's case trajectory, whether or not she is a murderer. Season 2 part 2 will follow the aftermath of Haller's decisions and his actions.
Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Part 2
While Netflix's many popular series are known for splitting into two parts, be it the recently released new volume of the fantasy show The Witcher or the supernatural drama The Stranger Things, the popular Lincoln Lawyer's Season 2 has also been divided into two parts.
As the first five episodes of the second season have already been released, we are waiting for the final five episodes to complete the story revealing where this will take Haller personally and professionally.
Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Cast
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo continues to play Mickey Haller with Jazz Raycole also returning as Izzy (Mickey's smart driver) and Angus Sampson as Cisco. Neve Campbell continues playing the role of Haller's ex-wife Maggi, along with Becki Newton as Ugly Betty, Haller's second wife and now work colleague. The accused murderer Chef Lisa Trammel is played by Lana Parilla.
The show is slated to stream on Netflix on August 3.
