Fans are awaiting the Letterkenny Season 11 premiere. The sitcom had initially begun as a YouTube web series titled Letterkenny Problems. Set in a fictional small rural town in Canada, Letterkenny follows the lives of the townspeople and focuses on siblings Wayne and Katy (played by Jared Keeso and Michelle Mylett respectively).
Letterkenny is created by Jared Keeso, the actor who plays the role of Wayne. Director Jacob Tierney worked with Keeso to develop and write the show. The series stars Keeso and Mylett alongside Nathan Dales, K Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Tyler Johnston, and Andrew Herr. The cast is joined by recurring characters played by Melanie Scrofano, Lisa Codrington, Kaniehtiio Horn, Mark Forward, Sarah Gadon, Dan Petronijevic, and Kamilla Kowal.
Letterkenny follows Wayne and Katy, the siblings that run a small farm and produce stand with the help of Daryl (Nathan Dales) and Squirrely Dan (K Trevor Wilson). The fictional town of Letterkenny has 5,000 residents, and the problems of the Letterkenny residents are explored in the television show.
Letterkenny made its debut in February 2016 and has released 10 seasons since then, each season having 6 to 7 episodes. Each episode is about half an hour.
Letterkenny season 10 and season 11 were filmed simultaneously. Season 10 was released on December 26 2021. On International Women’s Day 2022, March 8, a special was released titled Letterkenny Celebrates International Women’s Day.
Letterkenny has two spin-offs, Littlekenny which aired in 2019 and Shoresy, based on the second character Keeso plays. Shoresy premiered on May 13 2022. Since 2019, Hulu has had streaming rights to the entire series and its future seasons.
Letterkenny won the Canadian Screen Awards in 2005 for Best Comedy Series. It has received the Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction in a Comedy Program or Series three times. Letterkenny has also won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing in a Comedy Program or Series four times.
The series has won the Writers Guild of Canada (WGC) Screenwriting Awards for Best TV Comedy in 2017 and 2018.
Letterkenny Season 11 Premiere
Letterkenny Season 11 will premiere on the OTT platform Hulu and there has been no official confirmation regarding season 11 yet.
