Lana Condor: To All The Boys I've Loved Before came out with its third sequel and it is quite impressive for a young adult story to continue for not just two but back to back sequels.
Actor Lana Condor who plays the Korean-American character, Lara Jean Covey, in the film series has made many fans over the last few years. In the film, she is born to a Korean mother and an American father and the film tries its best to represent both the cultures in a balanced way.
Here's what we know of Lana Condor:
- Contrary to what most people think, Lana Condor is not Korean. She was born in Vietnam in 1997 and her birth name was Tran Dong Lan.
- After a month of her birth, she was adopted by an American couple, Mary Condor and Bob Condor.
- Raised in Washington and New York City, Lana started to take ballet classes as a child. She has got the training and has also performed with the Los Angeles Ballet during her childhood and teenage.
- Lana then started to take acting classes at many renowned schools including the New York Film Academy.
- Lana Condor made her debut in Hollywood in 2016 in a popular film X-Men: Apocalypse. She played the role of a mutant named Jubilee in the film.
- She then took up other acting roles in films such as Patriots Day, Summer Nights. Condor rose to fame when she played the role of Lara Jean Covey in the film To All The Boys I've Loved Before. A film adapted from Jenny Han's book of the same name.
- Last year, she won an award from Hollywood Critics Association in the Next Generation category.
