It was only a month ago that Lalit Modi broke the news cycle after announcing his relationship with actor Sushmita Sen. He had promptly changed his Instagram bio to include her name but looks like things aren’t the same between the two anymore.
Earlier, Modi had changed his display picture on Instagram to a photo with the Main Hoon Na star and his bio announced Sen as his ‘love’ but now, all of that has been erased from his Instagram handle.

Modi has now replaced his Instagram profile picture with that of his solo image and has also changed his bio. From the earlier bio, which read, ‘Founder @iplt20 India Premier League Finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47’, his latest simply reads, ‘Founder @iplt20 India Premier League’.
While this new development had led everyone to believe that the duo has allegedly parted ways, the two continue to follow each other on Instagram. Both parties are yet to address the rumours.
Back in July, Modi shared pictures with Sushmita Sen through a social media post where he referred her as his “better half”. Amid their marriage rumours, Modi clarified saying that the two were “just dating” and as for marriage, “That too it will happen one day.”
Sen, on her part, never confirmed that she was in a relationship with Modi. The actor, however, did break her silence when she was accused of being a gold-digger. Sen had written that she was ‘perfectly centred’ in her being and that she digs “deeper than Gold.” “I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds! And yes I still buy them myself,” she had written in a post. She also shared an article of SheThePeople that called out the problematic stereotyping of women who date well-off men as “gold diggers”. The tweet included the article’s headline, ‘The Problematic Culture Of Calling Women Gold Diggers,’ and with clapping emoticons and the hashtag ‘Self-made woman.’
In another post, Sen, who called it quits with her long-time boyfriend and model Rohman Shawl in December 2021, clarified that she was not married. “I am in a happy place! Not married, no rings. Unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification given…now back to life & work!”
