Kunal Kapoor And Naina Bachchan Welcome A Baby Boy

The niece of Amitabh Bachchan, Naina Bachchan and Rang De Basanti actor Kunal Kapoor announced on social media about welcoming a baby boy home. The two had gotten married in 2015, after dating for a couple of years. Naina is also a former investment banker and her social media is private.

The announcement on social media was made by actor and father Kapoor and since then the couple has been receiving congratulatory comments from friends, family and followers on social media. Kapoor shared it with a red heart emoji as his caption. He wrote, "To all our Well-wishers, Naina and I are overjoyed to share that we have become proud parents to a beautiful baby boy. We thank God for our abundant blessings."

The message was shared with an Om sign on top and an evil ward off symbol in conclusion. In the comment section, love and congratulations have taken over. Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan wrote, "(two emojis) love you all."

Namrita Bachchan, who is Naina's sister, wrote, "(emojis) best news ever." While Angad Bedi, Akshay Oberoi, Hritik Roshan, Cyrus Sahukar, amongst many others congratulated the new parents.

Naina is the daughter of Ajitabh Bachchan and Ramola Bachchan. The former is who is the brother of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Actor Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda are her cousins. Naina has three siblings, two sisters - Nilima and Namrita - and a brother named Bhim.

After dating for a couple of years, Naina married Kapoor on February 9, 2015, at a secret ceremony. In an interview with Verve Magazine in 2016, Naina said, "I don't think it was ever a conscious decision on our part to say that we are going to be a 'low profile' couple. Being out of the limelight is a by-product of doing the things that we love the most. But that doesn't mean we don't go out and enjoy ourselves or that we deliberately avoid situations where we will be photographed because we didn't."

Kapoor said that they met at a fashion show by Karan Johar. Naina was there along with her cousin Shweta. The next day both of them were leaving for Mumbai separately but at the last moment, Kapoor changed his flight to go with Naina. He said, "...The rest, as they say, is history..."
