Nithya Menen's eagerly anticipated Telugu series, Kumari Srimathi, is generating significant excitement as it gears up for its Prime Video premiere. The recently revealed teaser, presented by Keerthy Suresh, offers a glimpse into the intriguing world of the show.
Originally, the teaser was scheduled for release on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. However, due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the family of composer-actor Vijay Antony, whose daughter Meera tragically passed away on September 19, the release date was postponed as a mark of respect.
Menen's upcoming Telugu series, titled Kumari Srimathi, is set to premiere on Prime Video. This project is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Gometesh Upadhye, known for his work in Katha Sangama.
More On The Teaser
In the two-minute teaser, Nithya Menen portrays the role of Siri, an entrepreneur facing pressure from an elderly woman at an event to marry soon. The elderly woman taunts her, asking when she will invite them to her own wedding.
The teaser also hints at Siri's selective approach to choosing a life partner, as she rejects NRI matches and is not keen on Delhi-based suitors. Siri's friend, played by Praneeta, advises her to control her temper, warning that it could affect their business. Siri, the proud owner of a catering business, eventually retorts to the elderly woman with a sharp comment about her own life.
