Focus On Emotions, Not Mistake: Kriti Sanon's Mother Post On Adipurush

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush has been quite a controversial film ever since the makers released its first look. Now, Kriti Sanon's mother has come out in support of her daughter amid all the controversy surrounding the movie's dialogues and visuals.

Adipurush makers may have thought that they had crossed the controversial phase as the movie neared its release date. However, post-release the audience pointed out the problematic dialogues in the movie and claimed that the VFX was subpar.

The makers of the film including Om Raut and the dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir were criticised a lot. The cast of the film was also subjected to scrutiny as many said that they were wrongly cast and didn't fit the roles like Kriti Sanon as Sita. Recently, the actor's mother posted a cryptic note allegedly aimed at the controversy surrounding her daughter's film.

Kriti Sanon Mother Post For Adipurush

In a post that Kriti Sanon's mother Geeta Sanon shared on her Instagram, she quoted the famous verse from Ramayana, 'jaaki rahi bhavna jaisi, prabhu murat dekhi tin taisi' and explained its meaning. She wrote that a good mindset makes everything beautiful and how Shri Ram taught us to notice the love in Shabari's berries and not their half-eaten state. She further wrote that instead of looking at people's mistakes, one should look at their emotions.

Om Raut's directorial Adipurush was made with a budget of Rs. 600 crore and ever since the film was announced, the audience expected a lot from it because Om Raut's Tanhaji impressed the fans a lot as well as the cast was hopeful with Pabhas and Kriti Sanon pairing up for the first time. The movie was based on Ramayana and hence, a lot of religious sentiments were associated with it. However, when its first look was released in 2022, the audience pointed out the visual flaws and criticised the portrayal of Raavan. The makers had to change the VFX of the film.

The audience had issues with Saif Ali Khan's acting as Raavan, portraying Lanka as black instead of gold, the distorted narrative and the dialogues of the film. The movie was released on June 16 and post-release, changes were made in dialogues.
