Kriti Sanon in Kill Bill: Indian actor and producer Nikhil Dwivedi acquired the rights last year to remake Quentin Tarantino's film Kill Bill, according to reports. The 2003 classic's adaptation will be directed by Anurag Kashyap, reportedly casting Kriti Sanon in the lead role as the bride, originally played by Uma Thurman.
The 30-year-old actor will be performing her first out and out action film in her career with the Hindi adaptation.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Nikhil Dwivedi has had close involvement on the script of Kill Bill adaptation with Anurag Kashyap all through the lockdown. The duo is stating the remake to be a homage to the original film and has locked a script that according to them does justice to the Tarantino directorial.
While they have taken a step ahead to discuss the casting front, the conversation has been initiated to let Sanon take Thurman's role as the lead.

Reportedly, Sanon has agreed in principle to accept the offer and the official paperwork will be done soon.
While the country will witness Sanon in an acton-packed role for the first time, she will be undergoing a lot of preparations in multiple forms of action before the film goes on floors to play the role of an assassin.
Apart from the action, a strong undercurrent of revenge and emotions will be observed all through the narrative, much like the original film.
Besides the Raabta actor, two more actors will come on board this action thriller to play key roles.
Although the shooting timelines of the film are unknown yet, Sanon will be wrapping up her present commitments including Adipurush in which she will play the character of Sita, starring Prabahs and Saif Ali Khan, however, the timeline will be dependent on the COVID-19 scenario.
