About Do Patti's Cast
This is Kirti's first venture as a producer, and the film features Kajol and Kriti herself in the lead roles and Saheer Sheikh alongside them. It is under the direction of ad filmmaker Shashanka Chaturvedi. Screenwriter Kanika Dhillon, who is also a co-producer of the film, is credited with writing the screenplay. The filming commenced in August and was wrapped in December 2023, which the team announced on Instagram.
While announcing the project, Sanon posted a few images where she was seen gesturing with victory signs. She also shared another picture, this time alongside her parents, expressing her enthusiasm for the project. She wrote, “DO PATTI begins...!This is ready to flyyyyyy! Need all your love and blessings!” See the post here.
For Sanon, Do Patti holds a very special place as it marks her debut as a producer under the production house Blue Butterfly Films and her reunion with Kajol after eight years of Dilwale. Meanwhile, Kanika Dhillon's recent film Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba was the sequel to 2021 mystery drama Haseen Dillruba, other than that films like Guilty, and Manmarziyaan are to her credit.
