Actor Krishna Mukherjee of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein married her boyfriend, sailor Chirag Batliwalla, in Goa during a traditional Bengali ceremony.

In a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony held in Goa, actor Krishna Mukherjee, best known for his role as Aliya on the television series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, married cruise ship deck officer Chirag Batliwalla. She posted a number of beautiful photos from the wedding on Instagram.

In a photograph, Krishna Mukherjee is seen cradling Chirag Batliwalla's face as they sit in a mandap after the sun has set, the beach in the distance. She dressed in a red and white lehenga and wore pearl and kundan jewelry to transform into a Bengali bride. Chirag was dressed in the traditional attire for Bengali grooms: a white kurta, dhoti, and topor.
The couple captioned the images they shared, "And the Bengali girl tied the knot for life with the Parsi Sailor. We seek your blessings and love on our big day." On the couple's Instagram feed, congratulations came in from all directions. Celebrities from the television industry also jumped on board for the actor's wedding. Actor Surbhi Jyoti wrote, "Congratulations to you both and lots of love May your life be filled with happiness." One of the fans wrote, "Congratulations luv birds! Mukherjee shared a video from her engagement in a wedding setting in November last year. It might have come from her pre-wedding photo shoot. Chirag Batliwalla was waiting for her at the top of the stairs in his sailor's uniform. Mukherjee was wearing a white dress without a veil. The actor had her bachelorette party in Thailand. As she partied on a beach with her girlfriends, she slipped into a short silver dress. She uploaded pictures and videos to Instagram.

With the 2014 program Jhalli Anjali, Krishna Mukherjee made her television debut. She subsequently went on to star in programs like Shubh Shagun, Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein, and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
