K-pop singer-songwriter Nahee passed away at the age of 24 on November 8. The cause of her death has not been revealed by her family or agency. Korean news portals have reported that her funeral would be held on November 10, at the central funeral hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Nahee's musical journey began as an indie artist in 2019, with her single, 'Blue City'. She gained popularity with songs like 'Blue Night,' 'Gloomy Day,' and her most recent release, 'Rose.'
Short yet impactful career
The singer-songwriter also posted covers of famous songs on her YouTube channel, the recent one being a cover of 'New Jeans,' by ASAP. She was also very active on her Instagram, where she posted song covers, vlogs, and other snippets from her personal life. She also posted pictures and videos with her dog very often.
Her most recent Instagram post has gone viral, as she posted it only a day before she died. Nahee's supporters flooded the comments with "Rest in Peace" and "I'll miss you." Some of the commenters were also concerned about her pup who featured in the post.
In September 2020, she signed with the esteemed agency, Mun Hwa In, as a singer-songwriter and producer, and has 15 Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) credits to her name. Despite her short four-year career, Nahee had garnered quite the following, who are now heartbroken hearing the news of her death. Her supporters are now waiting to hear the cause behind her passing.
