Reality television show personality and entrepreneur Kourtney Kardashian welcomed a baby boy with musician and drummer Travis Barker, according to People magazine. In June 2023, Kardashian revealed her pregnancy news in a creative grand gesture at a Blink-182 concert where Barker was performing.
The couple had thrown a gender reveal party earlier where it was unveiled that the couple would be expecting a baby boy. In September this year, Kardashian in an Instagram post shared that she was rushed for an "urgent fetal surgery" and talked about the horrors of pregnancy complications.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Welcome First Child
The 44-year-old socialite welcomed her first baby with 47-year-old Travis as the report was first shared by the magazine outlet People. Kardashian gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
As many have been questioning Kardashian for the choice to have a baby at her age, many people have been hailing her for not letting age and stereotypes stop her from making a choice for her body and conceiving a baby.
No official announcements have been made yet. The couple also shares a blended family of six children from their previous relationships. The couple married in a lavish wedding in September 2022 in Italy.
Pregnancy Reveal
Kardashian revealed her pregnancy at a concert by holding a banner written "Travis I'm Pregnant" bringing her beau and everyone on the internet in awe with the gesture that seemed like a pleasant surprise.
As Kardashian made the big reveal at one of Blink-182's concerts, many fans questioned "How did he not notice" as she could be seen visibly pregnant. However, the true fans of the rock band Blink-182 claimed in the comments that the gesture was a tribute to the album "All Things We Know" by the band.
Later, the couple also held a gender reveal party which Kardashian shared with several clip and photo dumps on Instagram revealing they are expecting a "little boy drummer".
The public media figure, entrepreneur, and socialite, Kardashian has since then been seen uploading several pictures sporting her baby bump and giving some major pregnancy photoshoot goals.
The "Urgent Fetal Surgery"
The reality TV star also revealed on her Instagram post in a sentimental note about undergoing an "urgent fetal surgery" in September expressing how it came as a shocker after having three successful "easy pregnancies" earlier. She also shared how her husband Travis returned from his concert tour to be by her side and how her mother held her hand throughout.
Kardashian shared how she thinks those who haven't been through a similar experience would never understand what "fear" feels like as she wrote, "I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant."
