Jitendra Kumar, who was a Kota student in real life as well, rose to fame with his role of Jeetu bhaiya. Speaking to India Today about the show, he had earlier said that it was easy to portray the character in Kota Factory as real considering his experience of studying in Kota. He went on to clarify that he was comfortable in speaking the dialogues as he was already familiar with the lingo and the technical words that are usually used.
The show also stars Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Urvi Singh, Ahsaas Channa and Revathi Pillai in key roles. Helmed by Raghav Subbu, the show will chronicle the journey of students in Kota and the “struggles they face on a daily basis, which will make it more engaging and realistic”. The compelling story and spectacular performances, according to the director, will keep the audience intrigued. More here.
The first season dropped on YouTube in April 2019. The show is produced by The Viral Fever (TVF) and the series is written by Saurabh Khanna, Abhishek Yadav, Puneet Batra, and Manoj Kalwani.
