KWK 8: Karan Johar Reacts To Ranveer-Deepika Episode; Reveals Next Guest

In the upcoming episode 2 of Koffee With Karan season 8, Sunny Deol and his brother Bobby Deol will be seen occupying the couch as they engage in a conversation with the show's host and filmmaker, Karan Johar.

The promo for the upcoming episode is now available, and it offers a glimpse of the siblings discussing topics they've never touched upon before. Additionally, the trailer shows Sunny Deol's response to his father Dharmendra's kiss in Karan Johar's movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Johar proceeds to bring up Sunny Deol's statement about the organic success of Gadar 2. He inquires, "What exactly does that mean? Are we inflating box office numbers?" The actor acknowledges that inflating box office collections has been a common practice, prompting Johar to inquire further: "Is that why 'Hindustan ka asli blockbuster' was the tagline for 'Gadar 2'?"

Karan Johar Addresses Trolls Post Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Episode

Johar recently brought back his show with the first episode featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, where the couple delved into their relationship. However, their statements sparked some controversy, and reactions from the audience were mixed. In response, Karan Johar held a live Instagram session to engage with social media users. He not only addressed the criticisms but also discussed "trolls" who had criticised the initial episode of his show.

During the conversation, Johar acknowledged the discussions surrounding Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's episode. He remarked, "Do what you need to do because no one’s looking." He also noted that those who are attacking others are not being heard.

Karan Johar further stated that online trolling is an unproductive endeavour and leads nowhere. He expressed his commitment to making adjustments in the upcoming episodes of the show based on constructive feedback received on social media.
