Raj Singh Chaudhary directorial Shaadisthan starring Kirti Kulhari hit screens this month. The actor will play the role of a singer in the film, which puts a band of nonconformist musicians and the parents of a conservative teenage girl in a van.
What unfolds is a journey which is full of drama yet educates the audience about an important social issue. The trailer highlights the fact about how girls are married off in our nation without their consent till this day. The makers shared the trailer of the film on Twitter on Friday and wrote, "Friends, good music, some drama and good vibes always! All aboard on the Shaadisthan tour bus! Streaming from 11th June".

-Kriti Kulhari takes a road trip with a conservative couple and their teenage daughter due to an unpredictable situation. Through the course of the journey the audience would witness clashes of ideology and conversations highlighting social issues.
-Alongside Kriti Kulhari, the ensemble cast also includes actors like Medha Shankar, Nivedita Bhattacharya, real-life musicians Shenpenn Khymsar in pivotal roles, and Kay Kay Menon in cameo appearance.
-While speaking about how she felt connected with her character, Kriti said, “An unapologetic, strong and confident young woman who lives life on her own terms, strives to shatter stereotypes, and isn’t worried about being judged by anyone”.
-Director Raj Singh Chaudhary also described the characters of the upcoming films and said, “Each character in the movie is unique and celebrates its own individualism and all the other elements of the movie are inspired by real life scenarios”.
