Kim Seon Ho apologises to ex-girlfriend: Hometown Cha Cha Cha actor Kim Seon Ho has finally responded directly to allegations of forced abortion and gaslighting levied against him by an unnamed woman on social media. In a statement, Ho apologised to his former girlfriend for hurting her due to his carelessness and inconsiderate actions. The actor's agency, Salt Entertainment, too released a separate statement, apologising to all those who were disappointed and troubled by this issue.

On October 18, an unnamed woman had shared a post on Nate Pann, a Korean online community, accusing a Korean actor of forcing her to opt for abortion while promising to marry her in future. The woman had referred to this actor as K, however, soon after her post began doing rounds on social media, many speculated that the actor in question was Kim Seon Ho. The actor's agency had then released a statement on Tuesday, saying that they were currently checking the factual grounds of the anonymous post.
On Wednesday, Ho released a statement, in which he wrote that he experienced a fear that felt for the first time after the article with the mention of his name was released a while ago, and that is why he was writing this statement. "I was seeing her with good emotions. In that process, I hurt her due to my carelessness and inconsiderate actions," Ho wrote, further adding that he wanted to meet and apologise to his former girlfriend directly, but he was unable to properly convey the apology now and was waiting for that time to come. "For now, I would like to genuinely apologise to her through this statement."
Ho also went on to extend an apology to all those who had trusted and supported him until the end. "It was all thanks to those who supported me that I was able to become the actor Kim Seon Ho, but I had forgotten that," he wrote, further apologising for causing trouble to his co-stars and all of the related staff who worked with him due to his flaws and to everyone who was hurt.
"I am aware that this rambling statement will not fully reach your hearts, but I am still attempting to convey my sincere thoughts. I am very sorry," he wrote, concluding his statement.
Salt Entertainment, in its statement, apologised to all those who were disappointed and troubled by this issue, reported Soompi.

In her now-viral post, the woman had alleged that she had been in a relationship with an actor, whom she referred to as K, until he broke up with her four months ago. Calling K a "piece of trash without the slightest conscience or sense of guilt", the woman accused him of forcing her to abort her baby on a false promise of marriage. The woman said that she experienced severe psychological and physical trauma due to the experience.
