Advani attributed a part of her success to her actor-husband, Sidharth Malhotra. During a recent interview with journalist Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, she expressed how Malhotra has had a positive impact on her, making her more ambitious and nurturing a "go-getter" attitude. 

She highlighted their discussions on work-related matters and how his motivation encourages her to be fearless and unrestrained in her pursuits. She expressed her gratitude for having an understanding life partner who shares the same profession, as it allows for engaging conversations at home about their shared passion. She added that Sidharth has made her believe that she is “capable of so much more.” He tells her, “Don’t hold back. Just go and do what you want to do.”

During the interview, Advani also revealed that she and Sidharth Malhotra had a discussion about whether or not to share their wedding moments on social media. She disclosed that Malhotra, being a "too private" person, initially hesitated to post certain wedding content. There was a lot of debate surrounding a specific video that they eventually shared. Advani described Sidharth as someone who values his privacy and tends to be on the more reserved side.

It is speculated that the reason Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra did not publicly acknowledge their relationship was their shared preference for privacy. The couple surprised their fans by announcing their wedding after a private ceremony.
