Neeraj Pandey is back with his new film for Netflix, it takes the audience back to the time from 2000 to 2006 in crime-ridden Bihar with a supercop played by Karan Tacker on one side and supervillain Avinash Tiwari on the other. The movie is set to release later this month.
Bihar has been infamous for its high crime rate for a long time, especially in the 1990s. Politics in the state was rooted in crime and innocent citizens had to bear the brunt of a huge number of killings. There are many movies in Bollywood that are based in this crime belt of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. There is an enormous influence of gang leaders who are directly or indirectly related to political matters and even the judiciary which makes it difficult for anyone to seek justice in any form.
