Is KGF 3 In Making? Makers Hint At Possible Third Part Soon

KGF is one of the most loved South Indian films and almost everyone loved watching the story of Rocky on-screen. The second part of the movie, KGF 2 completed one year after its release and the makers made a special announcement that sent the fans into a frenzy.

KGF 2 was released on April 14, 2022, and the movie was a blockbuster hit. The movie is set in Kolar Gold Fields and the power politics and criminal activities that took place around it. The movie follows Rocky who, after his mother's death, arrives in Bombay to fulfill her wish and ends up joining the mafia and eventually the twisted politics of KGF. Chapter 2 of the movie showed Rocky ruling KGF and creating a better place for the workers there before fleeing in a ship with gold.

Though the movie claimed Rocky to be dead after being attacked by the army, the end scene showed KGF: Chapter 3, the final draft of the book written by Anand Ingalagi on Rocky's life. Though fans hinted at a possible alternate ending and Rocky being alive, they had no confirmations about it. However, the makers of the film might have suggested the third part with a video on the film's one-year anniversary.

Makers Hint At KGF 3 Release

On April 14, Hombale Films posted a 2-minute long video on its Twitter handle consisting of all the memorable moments from KGF 2 to celebrate its one-year anniversary. Apart from revisiting their favourite scenes from the movie, fans also found possible hints of part 3 of the movie. The video included questions like where was Rocky between 1978-1981 and were all the promises that were made actually kept.

The reversed video hinted at there being an alternate ending to the story and that there might be much more than it actually seems to Rocky's story. The video also included the final draft of the book on Rocky's life titled KGF: Chapter 3 and the video ended with a red coloured question mark turning into a 3. The video was enough to send the fans into a frenzy as they try to find the meaning behind it.

The possible predictions that have been made so far about the third part include the possibility of Rocky being alive. There are also rumours that the makers might show a connection between KGF and Prabhas' Salaar which is currently under production. However, as of now, no confirmation has been received. It is possible that if made, KGF 3 will go on floors in 2025 and release by 2026. Stay tuned for more updates.
