Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif took to Instagram to confirm that she has been tested negative for COVID-19. She wrote, “Negative ( everyone who checked up on me thank u , it was really sweet felt a lot of ) (sic),”. Along with the update she also shared a picture, dressed in a yellow dress, thanking her fans and everyone else who supported her and kept a check on her. Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen Bhatt also liked her post.
Katrina Kaif was tested positive in the first week of April
She diagnosed with COVID-19 in the first week of April. On the 6th of April, she announced she has been tested positive for COVID-19 and will be immediately taking precautions to prevent the same. She posted an Instagram story regarding her result stating, "I have tested positive for COVID-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I'm following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care."
Other celebrities also tested positive for COVID-19
Various celebrities were also tested positive for coronavirus, as second-wave hit the mass population. Actors, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhat, and Akshay Kumar were among the list of those celebrities. Covid-19 in its second wave has been witnessed to grow exponentially affecting states in Maharashtra and Delhi-NCR region.
Upcoming films of Katrina Kaif
The actor had been working with Akshay Kumar for their upcoming movie, Sooryavanshi which was supposed to release on April 30 but was postponed due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. She has been lined up in an array of upcoming movies, Kaif will be seen with Siddhant Chaturvedi in the movie PhoneBooth and opposite Salman Khan in Tiger 3, along with that she is also working with Ishaan Khatter in a film based on a superhero directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
