Katrina Kaif Starrer 'Phone Bhoot' Release Date Announced, Know More Here

Phone Bhoot Release Date was finally announced as actors took to social media today, confirming their upcoming movie release soon. Phone Booth was previously slated to release on July 15, 2022, but the release date has been pushed a little further by the makers.

Phone Bhoot is a horror-comedy Bollywood movie, slated to release in the theatres soon. Starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter in significant roles, this movie also features Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadda, and Kuldeep Kushwaha. Phone Bhoot is helmed by Gurmmeet Singh and bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment.

This Katrina, Siddhant, and Ishaan starrer movie is speculated to be a Ghostbuster franchise, where the trio portrays characters either skilled in paranormal activity or practicing some kind of witchcraft. Reports also suggest that the trio will be seen running a shop providing ghostbusting services.

Phone Bhoot Release Date: When Does It Hit The Screens?

The movie was initially slated to release on July 15, 2022, but now has been pushed to October.  The trio shared the quirky posters on their social media which also acted as a release date announcement. Taking to Instagram, Katrina Kaif's post was captioned- #PhoneBhoot ki duniya mein aapka swagat hai.(welcome to the PhoneBhoot world ) Arriving on 7th Oct 2022 at cinemas near you".

The production of the movie began back in 2020, but the movie was delayed due to the pandemic and restrictions related to Covid-19. Written by Jasvinder Bath and Ravi Shankaran, the Cinematography of the movie has been done by K.U. Mohanan. The movie also marks the first collaboration of the trio, Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Yesterday the actors took to social media to share a logo announcement video for Phone Booth. This 30-second-teaser revealed details of the star cast and the crew. Siddhant captioned the post "Ek Bhayanak comedy incoming. Stay tuned. #PhoneBhoot". The video also showcased a woman in a white saree with open hair in a car crash, after which the animated ghost logo was unveiled. Phone Bhoot will arrive in cinemas on October 07, 2022.
