Katrina Kaif Shares Best Reaction She Received On Film Merry Christmas

Katrina Kaif who is recently garnering widespread appreciation for Sriram Raghavan's thriller Merry Christmas after the success of her latest film decided to interact with her online audience as she conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on her Instagram answering fan's queries and questions. 

As fans and followers flooded the AMA session posing myriads of questions, Kaif who mostly talked about her film in the brief yet interactive and insightful AMA session also shared a bit of witty humour and shreds from her personal life from receiving the best reaction for her much-hailed performance of the film to being a Punjabi daughter-in-law.

'Jhappi From Hubby': 

Speaking of love, it's impossible to miss the adorable moment Katrina shared when asked about the best reaction she received for her film Merry Christmas. Instead of words, she posted a picture of her husband, Vicky Kaushal, hugging her tightly with the caption "Jhappi (hug) from Hubby." The image speaks volumes about the supportive and loving bond they share.

As the film was released on January 12, Vicky Kaushal on the opening day of the film gave a big shout-out to his wife Katrina Kaif's commendable performance writing in his caption: "So freaking proud of you love for how beautifully you have surrendered yourself to Sriram Sir's masterful storytelling and to the complexities of 'Maria'...Her rawness, her mystery, her magic... All done with such honesty and nuance! And that dance... uff! This one's truly your best work till date."

Kaushal also wrote a brief appreciation for Kaif's co-star Vijay Sethupathi and other people involved in the film truly appreciating the film from the bottom of his heart for making people "jingle" their hearts all the way in the film, recommending people to watch the film.

Punjabi Daughter-In-Law:

In an Instagram AMA session, Kaif responded to a fan's question about her favourite aspect of being part of a Punjabi family. Her answer was simple and heartwarming: "Dher saara pyaar aur ghar ka bana hua sarso ka saag aur makki ki roti with white makhan (Lots of love and homemade sarso da saag and makki ki roti with white butter)." 

Earlier, Vicky Kaushal playfully described their marriage as "paranthas weds pancakes," highlighting the blend of their different cultural backgrounds.

Kaif also shared what it was like to work under the film's director being totally in awe of his working pattern and style and described her co-star Vijay Sethupathi in two words as "Makkal Selvan" and shared her favourite scene, dialogue and unseen pictures from the scene also describing in brief how it was like to shoot for the film. 

Overall it was a very interactive and insightful short session where Kaif gave many insights and BTS moments of the film's shooting for the audience to feel more personally connected to the filmmakers and insights into the process of making the film.
